This is NGC1491 called the "fossil footprint" located in Perseus Constellation. I have never imaged this before, but on Jan 6, 2024, we had a nice night at Meyer field. So I got in about 20 10 minute subs and this processed out pretty well. With my AT 102 ED refactor telescope, I could not get the image as sharp as I probably could have with my 10" RC. However, with the 102mm you can get in a large amount of that area. I did crop the original image to give a closer image. Some people show more blue gas in that area but I think the Ha (red) really overpowers the blue at leas on my camera.
Thanks for viewing.
