Yall are missing out! Here is my observing report so far.
Sunday night
Clear and mild the fist half of the night. Transparency was poor though. I had issues with my Atlas mount so spent the night with a fellow Dallas club member and his 8 inch f9 APO randomly cruising the sky. A dry cold front blew in around 2am with a blustery cold wind forcing most to pack in for the night.
Monday night
Cold and breezy the first few hours of the night. Variable clouds drifted by. Tra sparency was much improved. Spent a couple hours troubleshooting my mount and made a little progress getting it up and running but not to a point where it was usable for observing. Spent the remaining night helping fellow bunkmates with their observing list as they had never been to TSP before. The wind and rapidly dropping temperatures forced us to abandon observing around midnight.
