This is my third and probably my best.
Caught a good night on this. Got a question from Jeff today wanting to know if I was going to OkiTex or Eldorado this year.

Good image. I have not an image of Thor’s Helmet since John Boseman posted one at Eldorado several years ago.

I can definitely see why it’s called Thor’s Helmet. Very nice job bringing that out.

We had a very nice night at Meyers on March 21, 2024. I was able to capture some good data on Thor's Helmet and as you can see this is a neat emission nebula in the constellation Canis Major. One thing is very noticeable and that is the amount of stars in this image.


Shot this with my QHY16200 camera, AstroTech 10" RC telescope and AP 1200 mount.
