Well, I went back and reworked the M42 for 2023. I found it had some process issues. I was able to get most of the satellites out of the image and the processing red streaks were no longer in the data when I reran the process in Maxim DL. I think that Jeff was right about the hot pixels and it was not an aircraft. Anyhow, this is a very tough image to get completely correct because of the bright center which will blow out after about 60 seconds.
