Yep, that has to be the best amateur image of M20 I have seen. It is strikingly different from the standard visual images that show more of the reflection side of that nebula and does show some detail that I have not seen before.

I have imaged M20 a few times but I believe this is the best so far. You can really see what is happening with the blue gas detail. This was imaged with the QHY16200 and Baader 2" filters. The telescope was the Astro-tech 10" RC on the AP 1200 mount.

Shot in 26 & 27 of 2022.
