I do. However I don't have an Rs232 to rj12 cable to plug the hand paddle into the serial port.

Dan: Do you have a usb to serial adapter?. You can connect that way by just putting the hand paddle in Pc direct mode.

Clouds dominated the night tonight. Thunderstorms moved in through the north and south of the ranch but no precipitation was recorded. Had quite the light show for several hours, apparently mother nature doesn't adhere to the no white light rule after sunset.


On a lighter note, I was able to spend some time diagnosing my mount connection issues and was able to get the mount operational via the hand paddle again but connecting with the laptop still eludes me. I suspect I have a faulty EQDIR cable.


Forecast for Thursday and Friday night look excellent so far. May prove to be the best nights of the week.
