The Bubble Nebula and M52 star cluster
Author Last Post

I've seen lots of images of the Bubble, but none as it appears next to M52.

I like it.  Nice job.

My final Okie-Tex 2017 image: The Bubble Nebula and M52 star cluster color mapped in the HST and HSO palettes. Again, shot with a Meade LX850 mount with Starlock guiding through a Celestron 1100 Edge HD scope using a Hyperstar lens set in place of the secondary mirror with a Starlight-Xpress Trius SX 814 monochrome camera using 1.25" 12nm Astronomik filters. All three channels 6 x 600 sec exposures. No darks, no flats. Captured, aligned, stacked, and color mapped in Nebulosity 4 with minimal color touchup in Adobe Lightroom 5.
