As reported by Troy Kimmel, KEYE-TV Meteorologist in Austin, several viewers witnessed
a bright meteor near Round Rock, Tx (north Austin) crossing the sky from west to east
at an elevation of ~30 degrees between 7:55 and 8pm. The meteor was clearly visible
for about 7 seconds.

Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Please reply to Dean Chandler,

My three oldest sons Justin,Jordan, and Jerod(GREEN) got to see this
spectacle!(Between 7:55 and 8:00pm)They were walking together in Hubbard and
noticed some kind of lighting causing shadows along the ground. They looked
up to see this very bright bolide meteor! There was a sonic boom and it was
breaking up as it went west to east in about 7 seconds with trailing
effect.Their description matches all the others coming in.I loved hearing
their story because they were so excited! It was their first bolide
sighting!I am most interested in this sighting due to radar signatures
signalling the breakup of the meteor.Fragments may be found in the coming
days!---michael green-hubbard,texas
